Welcome to the next six-week memoir writing series – WILD WRITING – Language, Landscape and Lineage where we will turn to nature, the land and our ancestors to mine stories and create a new rich language for our memoirs. This class is taught by Laura Lentz with Margaret Terry facilitator the breakout room for reading back your stories.
Guest Speakers Garrett Hongo and Linda Hogan will be speaking two Friday dates in July – dates to be determined. These classes will be recorded so everyone can be part of them. Both writers were finalists for the Pulitzer Prize, and their work on nature and ancestry is extraordinary. The talks will be one hour with a reading and a Q & A.
Dates: June 10, 17, 24, July 1, 8, 15
Monday is the second class in the series, so there are five days following where you can audit a class if you have to miss one!
