Ho’oponopono – the ancient Hawaiian practice of Forgiveness.
We all struggle with the concept of forgiveness. both for ourself and for others, and I have found comfort in a deeply healing age-old practice that comes from Hawaii. The beautiful Hawaiian Prayer for Forgiveness is called Ho’oponopono (pronounced HO-oh-Po-no-Po-no).
This Hawaiian practice functions as both a communication concept for reconciliation and a tool for restoring self-love and balance within ourself and our families.
What Happens: Each class students will receive a talk on Hawaiian spiritual practice which might include a song or chant, Hawaiian literature as inspiration, and writing prompts built around the Hawaiian practice to take us deeper into our own stories.
*missed classes will receive a class summary in Powerpoint
and/or video of talk by Lanai
You do not need to have any prior writing experience to benefit from this workshop, just a desire to tell your story and go deeper into your spiritual practice to go deeper into story.!
