BODY-HEALING-STORY: 6-month Online Writing Series w/ Laura Lentz

The Second Saturday of Every Month – next series date is October 14th 

If you are struggling with any medical challenge or grief of any kind, this 6-month writing workshop will be a step toward healing by writing your story, reading it out loud in a small intimate group, and listening to the stories of others going through health challenges. Hosted by Laura Lentz at Literati Academy, this is a designed class for anyone who wants write through memoir or poetry as an act of spiritual and physical healing.

It’s possible to sign up for individual classes and not the whole series by going back to the Bodies-Stories-Write page and finding individual dates. Individual classes are $38. Classes may be at capacity a week prior to the class without an early reservation.

The online writing events will take place the second Saturday of every month at 10:30 a.m. PST / 1:30 p.m. EST. If you miss a class in this series, you will receive the full class in Power Point to write on your own.

You do not need to have any prior writing experience to benefit from this workshop, just a desire to tell your story!

Time:  10:30 a.m. PST / 1:30 p.m. EST

Workshop Timeframe: 2 1/2 hours

Workshop format:  Writers will listen to inspirational stories on the topic,  and will be offered writing prompts and writing exercises to write in a thirteen minute timeframe. Then everyone will go into small breakout rooms with trained facilitators to read their stories back, and join a private FB group to share work produced in this series.

Note: If you have to miss the class and have paid, contact Laurawriter@me.com to request the complete class in a Power Point to be able to write on your own. This class is non refundable two weeks prior to each class, but Power Point and possible videos of the class will be made available to anyone who cannot make the date.
