The Mo’olelo Story Series takes place the Second Saturday of every month. The June issue will focus on ancestry and feature guest Hawaiian poets talking about the influence of their ancestors and reading from their poems that include their ancestors in almost every line.

You are signing up for th June 14th  class.

Length of class: 2 1/2 hours

Time: 7:30 a.m. Hawaii time / 10:30 a.m. PST / 1:30 p.m. EST

This class will explorehe intertwining and strengthening of familial bonds as a framework for exploring personal and collective narratives about family and ancestry.  A must have course for anyone working on memoir.

What Happens: Each class students will receive a talk, Hawaiian literature as inspiration, and writing prompts built around the Hawaiian practice to take us deeper into our own stories of ancestry. All students get to read back in small groups

*missed classes will receive a class summary in Powerpoint or a video

and/or video of talk by Hawaiian teacher.

You do not need to have any prior writing experience to benefit from this workshop, just a desire to tell your story and go deeper into your spiritual practice to go deeper into story.!
