STORY MEDICINE: BREASTS – A FREE WRITING WORKSHOP
If you are struggling with any kind of cancer or medical challenge, this workshop will be a step toward healing by writing your story, reading it out loud in a small intimate group, and listening to the stories of others going through similar health challenges. Sponsored by Radiant Healing Together and Literati Academy, this is a designed class for woman with challenges from Breast cancer and other breast medical issues. However, the writing prompts will call to anyone with an medical issues they want to explore in this FREE 2-hour writing workshop.
Authors Laura Lentz and Nancy London and spoken word artist and producer Lee Hunsaker – all cancer survivors, will share their stories and help you find a way into write your own.
Date: Saturday, July 15th
Time: 10:30 PST / 1:30 EST / 7:30 a.m. HAWAII TIME
Workshop timeframe: 2 to 2 1/2 hours
Length of workshop: 2/12 hours long
Workshop format: Writers will listen to inspirational stories of hell and healing, and will be offered writing prompts and writing exercises to write in a thirteen minute timeframe. Then everyone will go into small breakout rooms with trained facilitators.
You do not need to have any prior writing experience to benefit from this workshop, just a desire to tell your story!
