Write Your Birth Story Online Event

Write Your Birth Story is an Online Writing Event inspired by Laura’s 6- week Initiation writing class and her discovery that descriptive  birth stories don’t show up in most published literature and poetry. And yet her students were burning to write about their own birth stories – or the experience giving birth. Now Birth Stories is open to everyone – designed for all ages. During this 1.5 hour writing event, writers will listen to  inspirational poetry and essays from authors who boldly explored birth – and then write their own stories through creatively opening writing prompts – writers will write to the messy, the mystery and the ancestral  of birth, then share our stories with the other writers in a private Facebook group.
