Welcome to the next six-week live writing exploration – The Anatomy of You – Writing Unforgettable Stories. In this 6-week series writers explore the elements that make for an unforgettable story, essay or poem with Laura Lentz and 10 extraordinary writers.
In this class students will explore beginnings, endings, creating the flawed character of you, breaking, comedy inside tragedy and wisdom. We will make lists, write and study craft each week, and create stories we can use in our memoirs, poems and essays.
Thursday is the last class I am teaching in the series, so if you have to miss a week, you can audit a Friday or Saturday class with Robin Gadient (11:30 a.m. Friday, 10:30 a.m. Saturday Pacific time). Laura’s Zoom link never changes – Robin has a different Zoom link. You can also request the class in Power Point to work on your own if you cannot make a class, and if you know you are missing in advance, you can audit with me any day of the week prior to the regular Thursday time slot.
